We welcome guest articles and case notes from law students and early-career lawyers. It is a good way to build a public portfolio.
What we are looking for
- Clear explainers (about 800 to 1,200 words) on a legal topic, written for students.
- Case notes in our four-part format: facts, issue, reasoning, takeaway.
- Study guides, mnemonics and exam tips that you have tested yourself.
Our standards
- Your work must be original and your own. Do not copy from books, judgments, notes or websites.
- Cite the Constitution, statutes and cases you rely on, with correct citations.
- Use the current law, including the BNS, BNSS and BSA, and say when the position is unsettled.
- No legal advice on a live matter, and no confidential or client information.
How it works
- Fill in our article submission form with your name, institution and topic, and attach or link your draft.
- If it fits, write the piece and send it for review.
- We check the sources, suggest edits, and agree on credit and a publishing date.
- We publish it with your name and a short bio, and we log any later corrections.
The form is hosted by Google, and your answers come to us. You can also message us on LinkedIn or ask in our WhatsApp community.
